Lot 419: A Pair of Mid-20th Century Mottled Glaze Ceramic Table Lamps
A pair of ceramic table lamps featuring a tapered vase-form body with a flared neck and integrated circular base. The ceramic surface is finished in a high-gloss mottled or spatter glaze, displaying white spots and irregular streaks over a peach-coloured ground. Each lamp is fitted with a white plastic bayonet B22 bulb holder and a white plastic-coated electrical cord terminating in a standard UK three-pin plug. One bulb socket bears a 100W rating and a double-insulation symbol. No manufacturer marks or backstamps are visible on the exterior of the ceramic bodies. The lamps currently bear small orange adhesive inventory labels.
Condition report:
The lamps are in good used condition. No significant cracks, chips, or restorations are visible on the ceramic bodies. The electrical components show typical signs of use. As these are second-hand electrical items, they must be professionally PAT tested by a qualified electrician prior to use. Shades are not included.
