A wooden nesting box associated with Vogelbescherming (the Dutch Bird Protection Society). The main body is constructed from solid timber panels with a circular entrance hole to the front face. The gabled roof is finished with overlapping natural grey slate shingles. An oval brass-coloured metal plaque is affixed to the right side of the front, featuring a bird emblem and the text Vogelbescherming. The structure is assembled with visible metal screws and nails.
Condition report:
The item is in generally good condition. There are minor surface scuffs, scratches, and light wear to the timber consistent with outdoor use or storage. Remnants of an orange lot sticker and a white label are present on the roof. The metal plaque and screw heads show a light aged patina.
