Lot 411: A Collection of Decorative Items and Collectibles including Hand-Carved Wooden Animal Sculptures
An assortment of decorative objects and figurines. The lot features two hand-carved wooden animal sculptures, one representing a rhinoceros and the other a water buffalo, both displaying characteristic carving marks and natural wood grain. A painted ceramic figurine depicts a man in an animated pose, wearing a pinstriped shirt, red suspenders, and a patterned tie. Also included is a white glazed ceramic bird figurine and a resin composite landscape base with stylized foliage and red flowers. The landscape base is damaged, with several detached figure fragments present. Other items include a shallow white ceramic dish, a conical object, and a brass-toned base with associated electrical wiring. The collection is contained within a cardboard box marked with the Le Creuset brand name.
Condition report:
The lot is offered in as found condition. The wooden sculptures show minor surface wear and dust. The resin landscape base is damaged with detached components. General surface marks and signs of age are present on the ceramic items. Electrical components are untested.
