Lot 401: Regency Style Mahogany-Finished Flip-Top Folding Side Table
A late 20th-century flip-top side table, designed in the Regency style and finished in a warm mahogany colour. The table features a double-thickness hinged top that can be unfolded to provide a larger surface area, secured at the sides by brass swing-handle latches. The structure is supported by four ring-turned legs terminating in brass ferrules. The finish is high-gloss throughout. A small rectangular yellow paper label is present on the top surface, though the characters are not clearly legible. The form and construction are consistent with items produced by The Bombay Company during the 1990s.
Condition report:
The table is in good overall condition. The polished surface displays minor wear and light surface scratches commensurate with age and use. The brass hardware is functional and in good order.
