Lot 351: Hans Heysen, Morning Light, Framed Colour Reproduction Print
This colour reproduction print is after a 1922 watercolour by Sir Hans Heysen (Australian, 1877–1968) entitled Morning Light. The artwork depicts a quintessential Australian landscape featuring cattle grazing beneath a large gum tree. The print includes a facsimile signature and date Hans Heysen 1922 within the image. The lower margin features printed text identifying the artist as Sir Hans Heysen, O.B.E. (Australian School of Painting) along with the title and a copyright credit to David Heysen Productions, Hahndorf, S.A. The work is presented in a modern glazed wooden frame with a cream mount.
