Lot 31: A Collection of Decorative Glass, Ceramic, and Stone Items
A collection of decorative objects and trinkets. The group comprises a black ceramic jewellery holder in the form of a hand with applied porcelain roses; a black glazed swan figurine with applied floral decoration; a white glazed ceramic lidded jar with a chrome-plated metal lid and floral transfer decoration; a miniature iridescent blue glass pitcher; a clear glass dolphin figurine with gold-toned accents; a small white ceramic item with a transfer-printed scene; and a hexagonal banded dish, possibly of onyx or slag glass in the style of Akro Agate. These items represent various mid-20th-century decorative styles. Several pieces retain orange stickers marked 31 and one bears a white label marked 15.
Condition report:
The items are in generally good pre-owned condition. No significant chips, cracks, or repairs were observed during visual inspection. The applied porcelain elements on the jewellery holder and swan appear largely complete, though such pieces are often subject to minor losses. General surface wear and dust consistent with age and previous use is present across the lot.
