A vintage fur capelet or stole dating from the mid-20th century, circa 1950s-1960s. The garment is crafted from a deep mahogany-toned fur, characteristic of mink. The design features a high, structured stand-up collar and an open-front silhouette. The interior is fully lined with a quilted, bronze-toned satin-finish fabric. No maker labels are present. A temporary paper tag marked 17 is attached to the hanger.
Condition report:
The fur is in good condition with a healthy sheen and no obvious areas of loss or thinning. The quilted lining shows minor age-related discolouration and spotting.
