A Chinese polychrome porcelain figure representing Lu Star, the deity associated with prosperity and status within the Sanxing triad. The figure is depicted standing with a long, flowing black beard and hair, holding a red-glazed scroll in his right hand. He is attired in a pale blue-ground robe intricately decorated with cloud scrolls and floral sprays in underglaze blue and overglaze enamels. The lower section of the garment features a diaper-patterned border in shades of pink and purple. No maker marks or signatures are visible on the exterior. The figure is marked with two inventory stickers: a white label numbered 15 and an orange label numbered 257.
