Lot 236: Royal Doulton Porcelain Figurine Sonia HN1692 by Leslie Harradine
A Royal Doulton glazed bone china figurine titled Sonia, model number HN1692, designed by Leslie Harradine. The figurine depicts a seated lady in historical attire resting on a green upholstered settee with a gold-coloured frame. The figure is wearing a multi-tiered ruffled dress in shades of pale pink and white with a rose-pink bodice and a matching wide-brimmed hat. A small bouquet of multi-coloured flowers is positioned on the settee beside the lady. The piece is hand-painted and finished with a clear glaze. An original gold foil oval sticker is attached to the reverse of the settee, printed with Royal Doulton England. A temporary orange auction lot sticker numbered 236 is located on the front of the skirt.
Condition report:
The figurine is in good overall condition with no visible chips, cracks, or repairs. The delicate ruffles and floral details appear to be intact. Minor surface dust is present.
