Lot 235: Two hand-painted glazed porcelain figurines in the style of Royal Doulton and Coalport
Two hand-painted glazed porcelain figurines depicting ladies in traditional 19th-century costume. The first figurine (top) is portrayed in a voluminous cream-coloured gown with a pale blue fur-trimmed stole and a wide-brimmed yellow hat decorated with a pink floral motif. The style and pose are characteristic of the Coalport Ladies of Fashion series. The second figurine (bottom) is depicted in a walking pose, wearing a multi-tiered pink dress, a deep green cloak, and a black bonnet. This figure is in the style of the Autumn Breezes model produced by Royal Doulton. Both items feature orange adhesive labels with the handwritten number 235 and small white printed labels with the number 2. No manufacturer marks or model numbers are visible on the upper surfaces of the figurines.
Condition report:
Both figurines appear to be in good overall condition. No chips, cracks, or visible restorations were noted on the delicate edges of the garments or hats. The hand-painted enamel and glaze remain bright and intact.
