Lot 225: A Collection of Assorted Vinyl LP Records including Samantha Fox and Status Quo
A collection of approximately 40 to 50 12-inch vinyl LP records housed in a black plastic crate. The collection primarily features pop and rock artists from the 1970s and 1980s. The top visible record is the 1988 album I Wanna Have Some Fun by Samantha Fox, released on the Jive label with catalogue number HIP 72. The tracklist on the rear sleeve includes I Wanna Have Some Fun, Love House, Your House or My House, Next to Me, Ready for This Love, and Confession on side one, with I Only Wanna Be With You, You Started Something, One in a Million, Walking on Air, Hot for You, and Out of Your Hands on side two. Other visible spines in the collection identify a Status Quo 12 Gold Bars compilation with catalogue number QUO TV 1 and various releases on the RCA Camden budget label. The lot appears to be a typical domestic accumulation of the era, consisting of various pop, rock, and compilation albums.
Condition report:
The records are in used, vintage condition. Outer sleeves show varying degrees of shelf wear, including edge scuffing, corner blunting, and some creasing. The Samantha Fox sleeve exhibits light surface wear and minor creasing. The vinyl discs have not been removed from their sleeves for inspection and are sold as seen, unexamined for surface scratches or playability.
