Lot 21: A Collection of Cut-lead Crystal Decanters
An assortment of various cut-lead crystal decanters, including square-section, globular, and slender forms. The glass is decorated with traditional deep-cut patterns, including diamonds, fans, and vertical flutes. The collection includes a square spirit decanter with a starburst-cut circular stopper, a round-bodied decanter with a faceted globular stopper, and a tall decanter with a faceted ball stopper. The pieces are representative of 20th-century British or European production, in the style of noted manufacturers such as Waterford, Webb Corbett, or Edinburgh Crystal. No etched maker’s marks or signatures are visible. Some items bear white inventory labels and orange price stickers.
Condition report:
Generally good condition throughout. The crystal remains clear and bright. Expected minor wear and occasional flea-bite nicks to the sharp edges of the cutting or stopper pegs commensurate with age and handling. No significant chips or cracks observed.
