Lot 150: A Collection of Vintage Pressed Glass Footed Comports including Uranium Glass
An assortment of vintage pressed glass footed comports and pedestal dishes. The collection includes a translucent pale green glass comport of uranium type, featuring a wide ruffled and scalloped rim with a central embossed swirled foliate and geometric pattern. The group further comprises several clear pressed glass pedestal bowls of varying forms; one example displays a ribbed body and a starburst pattern to the base of the foot, while another features a textured geometric pattern to the exterior. The items bear small orange adhesive stickers and are accompanied by an Ulverston Auction Mart consignment slip.
Condition report:
The pieces appear to be in good overall condition. Typical minor manufacturing imperfections, including small air bubbles and straw marks common to pressed glass production of this period, may be present. No significant chips, cracks, or restorations are visible.
