A collection of brass oil lamp components and associated glass shades. The lot includes a brass oil lamp reservoir and burner assembly, featuring a perforated gallery and adjustment knobs in the style of an Aladdin Model 23 burner. Accompanying the brass components are several glass elements: a spherical opal glass globe, a spherical amber glass globe, and two clear glass chimneys of varying sizes. The lamp is in its original, non-electrified state. The items are presented as a group of components suitable for assembly or restoration.
Condition report:
The brass reservoir and burner exhibit a natural aged patina and surface tarnish consistent with age and use. The burner mechanism is untested. The glass globes and chimneys appear to be in generally good condition without significant cracks, although minor nibbles and small chips to the rim edges, typical of such utilitarian glassware, may be present.
