This collection of silver-plated flatware is produced by Oneida as part of the Community line. The items are primarily in the Hampton Court pattern, as identified by a manufacturer label on the packaging. The lot consists of several boxed sets and a quantity of loose flatware. Included is a set of forks in a red-lined presentation box with its original clear cover, multiple long cardboard boxes containing various spoons, and a separate container filled with a diverse assortment of loose pieces including knives and spoons of various designs. The Hampton Court pattern is characterised by decorative piercing at the neck of the handles. Manufacturer marks for Oneida and Community are clearly visible on the packaging. The pieces are constructed from electroplated nickel silver (EPNS).
Condition report:
The flatware is in good used condition overall. Tarnish is visible on the loose pieces and on some of the spoons in the open boxes, which is typical for silver-plated items of this age and can be cleaned. Several pieces remain in their original protective plastic sleeves, suggesting light or no use for those specific items. The presentation boxes show some light wear consistent with age and storage. No monograms are apparent on the flatware.
