This lot comprises three decorative table items of late 19th or early 20th century style. The first item is an ornate cut crystal bottle or decanter, possibly intended for scent or spirits. It features a tall, tapered body decorated with deep geometric cutting in diamond and vertical wedge patterns, terminating in a wide, flared pedestal base with matching radial cuts. The bottle is fitted with a multifaceted crystal stopper and includes silver-coloured metal mounts consisting of a collar at the neck and an applied decorative bow to the lower body. The second item is a metal sugar shaker or muffineer of traditional baluster form. It features a pierced, domed cover with decorative openwork in a cross pattern, topped with a small finial, and stands on a spreading, stepped circular foot. The material shows significant surface tarnish consistent with silver or silver plate. The third item is a small circular cut glass dish, likely an open salt or pin tray, finished with a silver-coloured metal rim. The glass features sharp, decorative cutting to the exterior. All three items are marked with orange adhesive labels bearing the number 112.
Condition report:
The items are in good vintage condition overall. The metal components on all three pieces show significant surface tarnish and would benefit from professional cleaning. The cut glass elements appear clear, although bidders should expect minor age-related wear and typical small fleabite chips to the sharpest edges of the cutting. There is surface dust present.
