A collection of various decorative objects featuring a ceramic mantle clock by Regent of London. The clock possesses a molded ceramic base with ornate scrollwork and polychrome glazes in yellow, green, and pink tones. Its circular dial is inset with a central floral petit point embroidered panel and features black Arabic numerals. The dial is marked MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN at the twelve o’clock position and REGENT OF LONDON at the six o’clock position. The lot includes an oval metal-rimmed lidded box with an inset ceramic plaque in the style of Wedgwood Jasperware, depicting a classical figure in white relief against a light blue ground. Also present is a crown-shaped silver-toned metal object with nine points capped with brass-coloured spherical finials, and a portion of a blue and white floral ceramic vessel set upon a dark turned wooden base.
Condition report:
The items show general surface wear, dust, and oxidation consistent with age. The clock dial and embroidered panel are preserved behind glass, while the ceramic base exhibits minor surface marks and light crazing. The metal components on the trinket box and crown-shaped object show significant tarnish and patina. The clock mechanism is untested.
