Lot 83: An Assortment of Gilt-Line Decorated White Ceramic Tableware and Additional Items
A collection of white-glazed ceramic tableware, decorated with simple gilt-line borders to the rims and highlights to the handles and spouts. The service includes a lidded teapot of globular form, a lidded sugar bowl, a milk jug, an open bowl, a sauce boat, and a three-piece condiment set comprising two spherical shakers and one cylindrical shaker. The lot also contains several matching tea cups and a stack of saucers.
Additional items within the lot include a decorative porcelain cabinet plate featuring a claret-coloured border with gilt scrollwork and a central polychrome floral spray. Also present is a stack of plain green-glazed ceramic side plates and a cut or pressed glass lidded biscuit barrel or sweetmeat jar, decorated with etched or engraved floral motifs.
Several items bear orange adhesive lot or price stickers with the number 83, and the teapot features a small white sticker with the number 7. No manufacturer backstamps or maker’s marks are visible on the surfaces shown.

The items appear to be in generally good condition with no major chips, cracks, or significant damage visible from the overview. There is some minor surface wear and light rubbing to the gilt-line decoration on several pieces, consistent with age and occasional use.
