Lot 72: An Assortment of Decorative Ceramic and Glass Objects
An assortment of decorative ceramic and glass objects. The collection includes a large blue and white transferware mug with a scrolling handle, a souvenir ceramic bell with a painted landscape, a novelty trinket dish shaped like a lady’s hat with a flower motif, and a small cream-coloured vase with the name Totnes. Glass items feature a green pressed-glass star-shaped bowl, a paperweight containing a pink lampwork flower, a purple dish with controlled bubble inclusions, and a frosted glass trumpet vase with a silver-tone metal foot. The group is completed by a dark-toned decanter with a silver-tone collar, a set of dark glass cups in a metal carrier, and a white mug with the Danish coat of arms and DANMARK inscription. Several items display orange lot labels.
Condition report:
The collection shows various signs of wear consistent with age and previous ownership. Some ceramic items exhibit crazing to the glaze. Light surface scratches and dust accumulation are present throughout the lot. Minor tarnishing and oxidation visible to the metal components. No significant structural damage or repairs were observed upon visual inspection of the group.
