A collection of decorative ceramic vases of various forms and designs. The assortment includes a large black-glazed porcelain vase of ovoid shape, decorated in the Chinoiserie style with transfer-printed imagery of a bird among blossoms, highlighted with gilt scrolled borders and a gilt rim. The lot also features a large globular vase and a smaller matching bud vase, both finished in a cream glaze and decorated with bold red and orange poppies and blue cornflowers. Additionally, there is a porcelain baluster vase with a delicate transfer-printed floral design in shades of pink, yellow, and blue, and a white ceramic vase with a textured scalloped rim and applied rope-effect accents to the body. No manufacturer marks or backstamps are visible on the exterior or accessible surfaces of the pieces.
Condition report:
The items are in generally good used condition. Some surface dust and minor shelf wear are present. The white scalloped vase shows slight discolouration to the unglazed base. No major chips, cracks, or restorations were observed during visual inspection, though minor surface abrasions consistent with age and use may be present.
