Lot 495: A Matte White Figure of a Standing Angel
A decorative figurine depicting a young standing angel or cherub with feathered wings. The figure is shown barefoot and dressed in a simple, sleeveless, knee-length tunic. It holds a small bouquet of flowers against its chest with the right hand and a further flower sprig in the left hand held by its side. The figurine stands upon an integral rectangular plinth base. The item features a matte white finish with a crisp surface texture consistent with bisque ceramic or reconstituted marble. A white paper label marked 7 7 is adhered to the chest, and an orange label marked 495 is present on the side of the base. No permanent maker’s marks, factory stamps, or signatures are visible on the exterior of the figure or the top of the base.
