This lot comprises a pair of matching decorative storage cabinets, likely mid-to-late 20th-century pieces that have been subsequently refurbished. The set includes a tall, slender upright cabinet and a smaller bedside-style cabinet. Both items are constructed from wood and composite materials and finished in white paint. The pieces feature inset panels of a textured lilac-coloured material, accented with gilded openwork scroll carvings. The tall cabinet is a double-door unit with visible external hinges and round brass-toned pull knobs. The smaller cabinet contains a single drawer above a single cupboard door, also fitted with brass-toned pull knobs. Both pieces are of one-piece construction. No maker’s marks or labels were found during inspection.
Condition report:
The cabinets are in good used condition. The finish shows minor wear and signs of the refurbishment process, consistent with age and use.
