Lot 479: Three Rectangular Gilt-Framed Wall Mirrors
A trio of rectangular wall mirrors of varying designs, all featuring gilt-finished frames. The first mirror has a frame with stepped and reeded moulding. The second mirror features a more ornate frame decorated with an embossed foliate and floral pattern. The third and largest mirror has a frame with reeded and beaded detailing. The frames are likely constructed from wood or composite materials with a gold-coloured finish. The mirror plates appear to be modern glass. No maker marks or labels are visible on the front surfaces.
Condition report:
The mirror plates are in generally good condition, appearing clear and free from significant silvering loss or foxing. The frames show minor surface wear and occasional small scuffs and chips to the gilt finish, consistent with age and domestic use.
