A vintage wooden carpenter’s tool chest of rectangular form. The chest is constructed from a dark-toned hardwood with visible dovetail joints at the corners. It features a centrally mounted wooden carrying handle secured by metal brackets. Two metal latches are fitted to the lid, and metal reinforcements are visible on the corners. An illegible remnant of a paper label is present on the top surface.
Condition report:
The exterior shows heavy wear consistent with age and practical workshop use, including numerous scuffs, scratches, and a well-developed patina to both the wood and metal hardware. Oxidation is present on the metal components.
