Lot 435: A Collection of Vintage Hand Tools and Workshop Hardware including a No. 6 Fore Plane
An assortment of vintage hand tools and workshop hardware presented in a plastic crate with an internal tray. The collection features a vintage iron-bodied fore plane, with the casting at the toe marked No 6, featuring a wooden front knob and rear tote handle. Also included is a smaller metal hand plane, a brass-fronted rim lock with two keys, a small wooden box, and various metal fittings and small components contained within plastic organisers.
Condition report:
The items are in a heavily used, unrestored condition. There is significant surface oxidation and rust across the metal components, specifically on the hand planes. The wooden handles exhibit wear, staining, and signs of age. The lot is sold as seen; functionality and completeness are not tested.
