Lot 317: A Collection of Framed Landscape and Topographical Works including Paintings Signed Kate Hollond, L. Alies, and Blanch
A collection of framed landscape and topographical works, primarily oils on board and decorative prints. The assembly includes a mountainous landscape in oil on board, signed Kate Hollond to the lower right, featuring a vista with a rocky foreground in an ornate gilt frame with a linen slip. Also included is an oval-format oil on board depicting Eilean Donan Castle at sunset, signed Blanch to the lower left, set within a rectangular gilt frame and an oval linen slip. Another work consists of a colour print on textured board of a cottage at dusk in the style of Thomas Kinkade, presented in a gilt frame with a brass nameplate. The collection further features an impressionistic street scene with figures, oil on canvas board, signed L. ALIES to the lower right, in a dark wood and gilt frame. Also present is an autumnal landscape in oil on board, depicting a forest by a mountain lake, in a dark wood frame. Each item bears an orange auction lot sticker numbered 317.
