This set of domestic utensils comprises spoons, a perforated skimmer, and a two-tine fork, all mounted on a matching brass wall rack. The tool heads and collars are constructed from cast brass, featuring a warm yellow hue. Each implement is fitted with a turned wooden handle. The wall-mounted rack is made of stamped brass with an embossed decorative border and integrated hooks for hanging the tools. The design is characteristic of mid-20th-century French provincial kitchenware. No manufacturer marks are present on the metal components; however, contemporary adhesive auction lot stickers are visible on the rack.
Condition report:
The set exhibits an aged patina throughout. There is visible surface tarnish and oxidation, particularly at the joints where the brass heads meet the wooden handles. The wooden handles show minor surface wear and small abrasions consistent with domestic use. The brass rack shows some light scratching and surface marks.
