Lot 284: Mid-20th Century Longlife 18 Pint Industrial Aluminium Stock Pot
A large industrial catering stock pot constructed from heavy-gauge aluminium. The exterior surface is stamped with the maker’s mark Longlife above a triangular emblem, and the capacity 18 PINTS. The vessel is designed with two wire-loop handles, each secured to the body with twin rivets. This type of cookware was characteristic of mid-century commercial kitchen and canteen equipment.
Capacity: 18 pints (approx. 10.2 litres).
Condition report:
The item shows significant signs of age and commercial use, including surface oxidation, scratches, scuffs, and several minor indentations throughout the body. There are adhesive auction stickers present on both the interior and exterior surfaces.
