Lot 281: A Collection of Vintage Brewery Promotional Pub Games and Novelty Items
This group of items includes several brewery-branded promotional games and related novelty objects. The collection features a boxed Four in a Row game with T. & R. Theakston Ltd branding in a black cardboard box with yellow lettering. Also included is a green cardboard box displaying a circular red and yellow logo with the letters SM, attributed to John Smith’s Brewery. The lot comprises a dice shaker or cup finished in a black material resembling leatherette or plastic, still contained within its original clear plastic blister packaging on a black card backing. A small rectangular novelty box is present, featuring a photographic image of a woman in lingerie on the lid with a multicoloured geometric pattern on the sides. The collection is further composed of a large wooden die with traditional circular pips and a partially visible blue box situated underneath the other items showing the letter I. Several pieces bear orange adhesive labels with the handwritten number 281 and the dice shaker has a small white label numbered 16.

Items are generally in their original packaging or boxes. The cardboard boxes exhibit varying degrees of shelf wear, including edge rubbing, corner wear, and some slight crushing to the lids. The blister packaging on the dice shaker remains intact. The contents of the boxed games have not been checked for completeness.
