Lot 256: An Assortment of Domestic Ceramics, Glassware, and Enamelled Cookware
A varied collection of domestic ceramics, glassware, and cookware. The group includes a selection of glazed ceramic tableware in the Garden Harvest pattern, featuring a transfer-printed border of peaches, grapes, and green leaves; one cup from this set bears a backstamp for Royal, Made in England. The lot also contains a boxed set of four scatter mugs titled Woodland Animals, featuring transfer-printed wildlife illustrations including a hedgehog. Glassware is represented by several pieces from Dema Glass, Chesterfield, in their original clear plastic packaging, featuring a red-toned decorative pattern. The collection is further comprised of a stack of white ceramic bowls with a single large grey transfer-printed fern frond, a stack of white plates with blue-grey pastoral and animal pictorial scenes, and a large lidded casserole pot in graded orange-to-red enamelled cast iron.
Condition report:
The items are in used condition with multiple auction and price stickers attached. No significant damage such as chips, cracks, or repairs is visible in the overview photograph, though the items have not been individually inspected for minor surface wear, scratches, or crazing. Sold as seen.
