A suite of eleven pieces of cut lead crystal glassware comprising two distinct designs. The collection includes six stemmed wine or water goblets featuring bowls decorated with a traditional deep-cut diamond cross-hatch pattern to the lower half, supported by multi-faceted stems on circular star-cut bases. Also included are five tumblers featuring a contemporary intersecting linear shard cutting pattern, consistent with the Donegal pattern attributed to Waterford Crystal. These tumblers are finished with star-cut bases. No acid-etched manufacturer marks or signatures are clearly visible on the bases or bodies of the items. Several pieces bear small adhesive inventory labels handwritten with the number 246 or printed with the number 25.
Condition report:
The glassware appears to be in good overall condition with high clarity and no evidence of clouding or crystal sickness. There are no visible cracks or significant chips. Minor shelf-wear is present on the bases, and occasional minute fleabite chips to the sharp edges of the faceted cutting may be found upon close inspection, consistent with age and use.
