Lot 244: A Set of Mid-Century Modern Tangerine Orange and White Glazed Ceramic Tableware
A set of mid-century modern glazed ceramic tableware, characterised by a vibrant tangerine orange exterior glaze and contrasting white interiors. The collection includes a large jug with a white interior and integrated handle, several cups with D-shaped handles, multiple bowls featuring integrated side-tab handles, a stack of circular plates and saucers, a group of rounded egg cups, and a pair of pebble-style salt and pepper shakers. The set is crafted from glazed earthenware. Small yellow inventory labels bearing the handwritten digits 244 are adhered to several pieces. No factory marks are visible on the bases. The minimalist, functionalist form is typical of mid-century ceramic design from the 1960s or 1970s.

The set appears to be in good overall condition. No chips, cracks, or significant repairs are visible. There is a small metallic residue or mark on the rim of one piece. Light surface scratches consistent with age and use may be present.
