A mixed lot comprising two daggers and a decorative bust. The first item is a Moroccan Koumya, a traditional curved dagger featuring white metal mounts over a wooden core, embellished with chased foliate and scroll patterns. It has a characteristic flared pommel and a scabbard with an upturned hooked tip and two suspension loops. The second item is a Caucasian style Kindjal, a double-edged dagger with a waisted grip made of an ivory-coloured material, fixed with two ornate metal bosses. The scabbard consists of a central black leather section and large white metal mounts at the locket and chape with chased floral decoration, including a single suspension ring. The third item is a decorative cast brass bust in the style of Queen Nefertiti, mounted on a rectangular base of polished onyx.
Condition report:
The Moroccan Koumya shows surface tarnish and light wear to the metalwork. The Kindjal displays a dark patina on the metal mounts and typical wear to the leather section; the hilt has age-related discolouration. The decorative bust exhibits surface oxidation and minor wear consistent with age, with light marks on the stone base.
