Lot 222: Vintage Multi-coloured Patchwork Leather Oversized Pouch Bag
A vintage oversized zip-top pouch bag or clutch constructed from a multi-coloured patchwork of textured leather panels. The design features a grid of rectangular and square panels in navy blue, red, black, and cream. The bag is secured with a brass-toned metal zipper along the top edge and includes a silver-toned metal ring at one end, likely for a detachable strap. There are no visible maker’s marks, brand labels, or serial codes present on the exterior.
Condition report:
The bag is in worn vintage condition. There is visible surface soiling and staining, particularly on the cream-coloured leather panels. The leather shows general creasing, softening, and signs of use consistent with age. Two adhesive auction lot labels are present on the front panel.
