A group of three glazed ceramic horse figurines featuring a chestnut brown polychrome finish. The collection consists of a standing adult horse, a reclining mare, and a standing foal. Each figurine is decorated with white facial blazes and white markings to the legs. The naturalistic modelling and high-gloss glaze are characteristic of mid-20th-century British animal porcelain, specifically resembling models produced by Beswick. No manufacturer backstamps are visible on the exterior surfaces; however, small adhesive inventory labels are present on the bodies of the two larger figures.
Height of standing horse: approximately 18 cm.
Condition report:
The figurines appear to be in good condition with no visible chips, cracks, or repairs. The high-gloss glaze remains bright and well-preserved across all three pieces.
