Lot 215: A Pair of Glazed Ceramic Palomino Horse Figurines, Attributed to Beswick
A pair of glazed ceramic horse figurines, attributed to Beswick. The models depict horses in alert, standing poses, finished with a high-gloss glaze in a palomino colouration. This decoration consists of a warm chestnut-toned body with a contrasting white mane, forelock, and white stockings on the lower legs. The naturalistic modelling captures anatomical details consistent with British ceramic animal figures produced during the mid-20th century. No manufacturer backstamps, incised model numbers, or maker marks are visible on the exterior of the items. Both figurines are marked with orange adhesive lot stickers displaying the handwritten number 215.

Both items appear to be in good overall condition. The glaze remains bright and reflective across both pieces. No chips, cracks, or visible repairs were observed during the inspection.
