Lot 20: Two mid-20th century woodland-themed glazed earthenware ceramic items
A pair of decorative glazed earthenware ceramic items featuring woodland motifs. The first item is a figural planter or posy vase designed as a hollowed tree log, decorated with a perching squirrel and relief-moulded foliage including small red flowers. The second item is a small, shallow decorative dish or planter base depicting two white rabbits nestled within a burrow-like setting of green leaves and textured earth. Each piece is finished with hand-applied polychrome glazes in naturalistic shades of brown, tan, green, and white, characterised by a high-gloss finish. These items are produced in the style of mid-century British woodland-themed ceramics, similar to those made by potteries such as SylvaC or Beswick. No factory marks, backstamps, or impressed signatures are visible on the surfaces shown. Both items currently bear adhesive auction room lot or price stickers.

Both items appear to be in good overall condition. No chips, cracks, or visible repairs are evident from the photograph. There is minor surface residue from the adhesive labels.
