Lot 198: A Trio of Glazed Ceramic Palomino and Pinto Horse Figurines Attributed to Beswick
A trio of glazed ceramic horse figurines, attributed to Beswick. The collection consists of three distinct equine models featuring high-gloss glazes. One figurine is a pinto horse with tan and white markings in a standing, alert pose. A second figurine is a palomino horse in a dynamic rearing or bucking position with a white mane, tail, and white hind sock. The third figurine is a palomino horse depicted in a galloping or jumping pose with a white blaze, mane, and tail. The style, glaze, and subject matter are consistent with the mid-20th-century animal figurines produced by Beswick. No factory marks or incised model numbers are visible on the bodies. Each piece is marked with a small, orange rectangular adhesive sticker with the handwritten number 198.
