Lot 160: 3 Framed Black and White Photographic Prints of James Dean and Marilyn Monroe
3 framed black and white photographic prints depicting Hollywood film stars James Dean and Marilyn Monroe. The first print features James Dean in a classic leaning pose holding a cigarette, with the name James Dean printed in a stylised cursive script on the lower right of the white mount. The second print, positioned behind the first, depicts Marilyn Monroe with her name printed in a matching script on the mount. Both items are housed in thin, matching black rectangular frames with white internal mounts. Each frame has an orange adhesive sticker on the front with the handwritten number 160.
Condition report:
Both items appear to be in good decorative condition. There is a small fragment of brown paper or adhesive tape adhered to the glass of the Marilyn Monroe frame. Minor surface wear and marks to the frames consistent with age and handling.
