Lot 135: Vintage Razer Ray Gun by Kayo
A mid-century molded plastic toy ray gun, identified by the embossed text Razer Ray Gun on the side of the barrel. The item is constructed from metallic gold-coloured plastic for the main body and grip, with a translucent red plastic nozzle. The grip features a circular embossed logo containing a stylised character above the letters KAYO. The toy includes a grey plastic trigger and a circular vent at the rear, characteristic of internal sparking or clicking mechanisms. The design features a ribbed barrel and a tapered, stepped nozzle. An orange rectangular sticker with the handwritten number 135 is present on the right side of the body.
Condition report:
The item shows signs of significant play wear, including surface scuffs and scratches throughout the gold-coloured body and the red nozzle. The internal mechanism has not been tested for functionality. No original packaging is present.
