Lot 118: Blue Mountain Pottery Glazed Ceramic Double Dolphin Figurine
A stylised ceramic figurine depicting two dolphins leaping from a wave-form base, manufactured by Blue Mountain Pottery. The sculpture features a distinctive flow glaze, with a deep glossy black upper body transitioning into a teal green underbelly and base. The underside of the piece retains a manufacturer’s label identifying it as a product of Blue Mountain Pottery, Collingwood, Ontario, Canada. The item currently bears several temporary markings, including a white circular sticker numbered 8, an orange inventory sticker marked 1.18, and a paper tag numbered 11.
Condition report:
The figurine appears to be in good overall condition. There is visible surface scuffing and light scratching to the glossy black glaze, notably on the head and back of the larger dolphin. No major chips, cracks, or visible repairs are present.
