March timed auction
Lot 72:
A collection of three decorative pressed glass pieces. The first item is a leaf-shaped tray in pale green carnival glass with multi-coloured metallic iridescence showing tones of pink, gold, and blue. The moulded Fruit and Flora design features a central flower, bunches of grapes, strawberries, and textured leaves, finished with an integral pointed handle. This pattern is attributed to Soga (Japan). The second item is an amber-coloured pedestal vase with a scalloped rim and arched panels containing diamond-point textures, standing on a fluted, scalloped foot. The third item is a deep amethyst footed bowl featuring a repeating hobnail texture and a flared rim; the glass appears near-black in dense areas. No manufacturer marks are visible on the surfaces or bases.
All three items are in good condition with no visible chips, cracks, or restoration. The iridescent finish on the leaf tray remains vibrant. Adhesive auction lot stickers are present on the surfaces.
