Lot 597: Omega Genève Gold Plated Cushion Case Wristwatch ( not authenticated )
A vintage Omega Genève wristwatch featuring a square cushion-shaped gold-plated case. The silver-toned sunburst dial is signed with the Omega logo and name below the 12 o’clock position and Genève above the 6 o’clock position. The dial features applied gold-toned baton hour markers and a date aperture at the 3 o’clock position. The watch is fitted with an aftermarket black leather strap with a gold-toned pin buckle. The movement type and caliber are unconfirmed as the case back has not been removed. No box or papers are present with this lot.
Case size: 31mm (excluding crown).
Condition report:
The watch is in used condition. The acrylic crystal is heavily scratched and shows visible crazing and small cracks, particularly around the edges near the 11 and 5 o\'clock positions. The gold-toned case shows significant wear to the plating on the lugs and along the sharp edges, revealing the base metal beneath. The dial shows light surface spotting and minor debris. The watch is fitted with an aftermarket black leather strap in used condition. The movement has not been inspected and the working order is unknown.
