March timed auction
Lot 45:
A clear glass serving suite including a three-footed bowl, a matching ladle, and a circular charger. The bowl is decorated with a central band of diamond-cut cross-hatching and is supported by three applied spherical ball feet. The ladle features moulded decorative detailing at the junction of the handle and bowl. The charger is finished with a frosted, acid-etched border depicting a repeating floral and foliate vine. The glass shows prismatic light refraction in the feet, suggesting lead crystal content. Also included is a ceramic serving set consisting of an oval platter and a matching large serving spoon. These ceramic pieces are finished in a white glaze and decorated with blue transfer-printed floral sprigs and a butterfly motif in the style of European blue and white patterns. No manufacturer marks, signatures, or backstamps are visible on any of the items. Several orange labels with the number 45 and white labels with the number 18 are present on the surfaces.
The items appear to be in good overall condition. The glass suite shows no visible chips, cracks, or significant clouding. The ceramic set shows no visible chips, cracks, or crazing to the glaze on the primary surfaces.
