Lot 380: A Square Baize-Lined Wooden Panel
A square wooden panel, possibly an insert for a games or card table. The piece features a central surface covered in green baize, set within a dark-stained wooden frame. The construction consists of a textile lining applied to a wooden substrate, secured by the outer frame. No maker marks, labels, or inscriptions are visible.
Condition report:
The item is in a worn condition. There is significant fraying and material loss to the green baize, particularly along the edges where it meets the frame. Several small punctures and holes are visible across the textile surface. The wooden frame shows general abrasions, scuffs, and wear consistent with age and use.
