A Collection of Ten Ceramic Mugs and Assorted Metalware
A collection of ten ceramic mugs, predominantly of fine bone china or porcelain construction. The decorative styles vary across the group, including transfer-printed floral motifs, a blue and white transfer-printed design, and a mug featuring a black line illustration. One mug is decorated with a silver-toned rim and a colourful floral pattern, while another features decoration to the interior rim. Accompanying the ceramics is a selection of metalware, comprising a silver-plated multi-slot toast rack of typical form, a metal handbell with a black-finished handle, and a heavy-gauge cast metal kitchen tool, appearing to be a citrus press or juicer. The styles are consistent with 20th-century British domestic manufacture.
The items appear in used condition consistent with age. No major chips, cracks, or repairs are immediately visible from the top-down perspective, although some pieces may exhibit surface wear, light crazing, or tarnishing to the metal surfaces.
