Lot 117:
This collection of English bone china is manufactured by Royal Albert in the Old Country Roses pattern. The pieces are decorated with transfer-printed clusters of deep red, pink, and yellow roses with green foliage, typically finished with a scrolled, gilded rim. The assortment includes a teapot with a domed lid, a sauce boat on a fixed stand, a lidded butter dish with a stand, and a lidded preserve pot. The lot also contains a stack of assorted dinner and side plates, two cream jugs, and an open sugar bowl. Decorative items and accessories comprise a plate-form wall clock with Roman numerals, a large-format display teacup and saucer, salt and pepper shakers, and a single candlestick. Small ornamental pieces include several miniature ceramic shoes, a heart-shaped trinket box, a miniature clock, small posy vases, and floral-form ornaments. The wall clock face features the Royal Albert crown logo and the pattern name.
The items appear to be in good overall condition with no visible chips, cracks, or repairs. Minor wear to the gilded rims and light surface scratches consistent with age and use may be present. Several items have adhesive lot or price stickers attached to the surface.
