A Collection of Vintage Japanese and Asian Style Decorative Ceramics
A collection of decorative ceramic items featuring various Asian-inspired motifs and forms. The group includes a round lidded trinket box decorated with a bird and peony design within a blue patterned border, identified in market contexts as a vintage Japanese floral pattern. Also present is a small globular ginger jar with polychrome floral sprays, a long-necked bottle vase with a gilt-edged rim, and a white vase featuring a moulded basketweave texture with applied three-dimensional floral components. The collection is completed by a stylised animal figurine with turquoise and pink enamel accents. The pieces are finished with a glossy white glaze and detailed with colourful enamel work. Several items display orange inventory labels numbered 151.
The items are in good vintage condition. There is minor evidence of surface wear and light rubbing to the gilt highlights consistent with age. No major chips or cracks are visible.
