A Set of Mid-Century Modern Style Bentwood and Plywood Chairs
A set of mid-century modern style chairs constructed from a combination of light-toned bentwood and plywood with a clear-coated finish. The design features curved backrests and square-tapered legs, characteristic of institutional or kitchen furniture from the mid-20th century. Several chairs bear small orange adhesive labels and handwritten markings on the seat surfaces. The frames are designed to allow for stacking.
The set shows signs of regular use with visible surface scuffing, scratches, and wear to the varnish consistent with age and previous application. Some chairs exhibit handwritten markings and adhesive residue.
