Lot 65: Two vintage ceramic items comprising a Wade Heath duck teapot and a Toby-style character jug
A Wade Heath figural teapot and a Toby-style character jug. The teapot is modelled as a yellow duck with an orange beak, featuring a lid with a duckling-form handle. The character jug depicts a seated gentleman in a yellow coat, green waistcoat, and black tricorn hat, with the base bearing the printed text LORNA DOONE PARK. Both items are glazed ceramic and feature multiple adhesive labels, including white labels numbered 3 and orange labels numbered 65.
Condition report:
Both items exhibit significant and extensive all-over crazing to the glazed surfaces. The character jug shows visible crazing to the white interior. General age-related wear is present throughout.
